i even tried to downgrade to different versions but it seems that not even that is helping... It just keeps crashing at the start up screen... P
Did you delete opt/waxmppplugin and home/user/.wazapp folders? Whole folders? And just to be sure delete home/user/MyDocs/wazzap too.. Uninstall Wazapp, reboot, install again, reboot and try..
My issue with some contacts not wanting to sync was only related to how their numbers were saved in contacts.
I have to have +46 in front of the number which is my country code or the contacts won't sync. I just edited some numbers, synced again and now everyone is found.
Hey, thanks for that tip. Now I know, why not all of my contacts were showing.
@cepi and @tarek
can you upgrade the sync-contacts routine so all the non-numerals (exept the "+") get deleted?
+49 (1234) 56 789 10
This is the way most of my contacts are stored. It works on Android with these numbers aswell.
So with a "for" iteration it could be truncated to:
+4912345678910 (That's the way they get recognized in wazapp)
I'd rather wait a litte longer for sync and have all contacts ...
But anyway, thanks so much for letting me have this great program on my beloved N9!
I'm using latest coderus' deb, and I miss having myself as a contact, like someone said, it'll be usefull to check connection status (even when we have a header that indicates it), I also use to place reminders in chat panel.
It's not to bad, just a request to get it back. And again, thank you devs for your aweson work.
Edit: Ok, forget It, I'm the on the contact list
Edit 2: That Is strange, I dissapear again from contacts
After some hours and tips i have finally managed to get wazapp (latest version) to work..
i did what Timpaxi ! Suggested me to do except in order for me to make it work i had to completely remove my wazapp account then the /home/user.wazapp file and the opt/waxmppplugin file..
Reboot the phone> reinstall wazapp> register account and Viola ! Triomf
