Has anybody made downloadable themes for Maemo yet? Or would somebody like to put up a repository site for themes? :-)
I did a bit of showcasing for how easy it is to change your 770's appearance with Gimp and Konttori's MaemoThemeMaker. Well, easy if you know your Gimp and your Linux. Theme installation requires still some developer skills, but FWIW I created an Ayanami Rei theme quickly and put it up for download at my blog:
I've been enjoying Konttori's work as well. I'm about 80% done building a (please don't laugh) Tomb Raider Legend theme...Why? cuz i have too much time on my hands and it's fun to cusomize the 770. The first thing I did with Konttori's app was change the font size...what a big difference that made. I'm starting to play with the buttons and icons but for the most part I already like the ones that came with the 770. I think I may do a WinXP theme next, just to f*** everybody up that sees my 770 - they'll think it runs XP!
