Thanks for clarifying again. Now as you say it i remeber i've read it before. Sometimes its hard to keep track of all the changes and informations. And maybe you don't think so clearly if you are affected yourself.

thanks scorpius..i have been using whatsapp but the one thing i will need is for you to fix the connection issue. sometimes whatsapp logins in and sometimes i find it difficult to login..it say conection failed...
i do hope you can fix it or tell me what to do.

What makes you think that's a problem with Yappari? It must be a problem with your connection. Yappari logs in just fine in my end.

i have again the connecting problem -.-

i installed 0.0.23 and im logged in hmm is that a bug i dont now

sorry if this has been asked does it send the offline messages as mine goes off now and again when signal goes and dont know if im getting any when off

You'll receive offline messages when you get a connection again, like all WhatsApp clients do. People can send you messages while you're not connected and you'll receive them the next time you connect.

Hm, Yappari says 'Logged In' for a very short time, then 'Disconnected'... Then it tries again 3 times and then it crashes... You can find the log at http://ubuntuone.com/5l5BkIKwEF6Ni3ai6LAG6U (scroll down 'till the end...)

I'm getting no luck in connecting to the server while on my university's wifi network, while people with the official apps can connect just fine - could you look into it? AFAIK the only open ports are http/https and a handful of mail ports, so maybe the official clients connects through one of those if it can't connect to the standard one.

Heh, had the exact same thing today. My school also blocks all ports except for 80 and 443. Not sure about the mail ports.

Luckily there are some ''open'' (thanks god for aircrack) networks close by that work just fine.
