Just played with the new coderus nightly version.
Now the profile pic of contacts are displayed in orginal size as the contact uploaded. But a few things are gone like emoji with your status cant select emoji anymore. Also the options for the chats like detele etc are gone. Also the pics are shown that i have sent to that contact. This is Cepi`s last version
but i guess not ready yet.

22.10.2012 build uploaded to my Dropbox
added new ~nightly version
nightly is a merge of tgalal, knobtviker and cepiperez repositories. most featured and most buggy.
Changelog included.
sigpro: emoji selection dialogs are fixed. you downloaded release before it was announced. also chats options now in menu (u're talking about Contact Page, right?)

But at my own profile status i had a heart and that is not shown anymore.
Tried other emoji it is shown when you select it but after it is done updating the status, the emoji is a blank paper. On the other hand this version feels smoother and faster
