OSEmuTech: don't feel bad Please report this bug to the project bugtracker.
I'd like to ask you about support for formats other than djvu, pdf, cb*. Does someone need ps, dvi, tiff and other? Did you try them? If nobody needs them and nobody tested them I see no reason of keeping their support in evo.

Chelli: Ps support is now using ghostscript, but I didn't build it for maemo yet. I was going to build it and put into repository, but now I'm thinking about to use libspectre for ps, as evince developers suggested here: http://live.gnome.org/Evince/SupportedDocumentFormats
I'll try to build it after fixing bugs. Fortunately there are only 2 of them at the moment.
Please do not drop tiff support, I need it. So far, it works in my hands (latest evince from your builds, n810, latest os 2008 version). I open faxes in tiff format with it. Previously, I converted tiff in ps and opened with evince for os 2007.
You mentioned something I didn't know, the fact that evince for 2007 had ps support. Do you have some details? Did you have to install gstreamer or some other packages to get it working?
I have compiled ghostscript (it's in my repository, check the Xournal page in the Downloads section of the maemo.org - http://mango.dia.unisa.it/maemo chinook free non-free).
It's a quite large package.
If you feel to re-package it and make it smaller, you're making me happy
anidel: Unfortunately your build doesn't contain libgs, which I need for libspectre build.
So, I took ghostscript sources from Debian and built them. If I manage to make all this working with evince I'll upload all packages to extras-devel.
The Ghostscript for Xournal is already 33 megs on the tablet.
That's out of your 256 megs of program space.
We really need a unified version, not multiple copies.
Ed, can you and anidel get togther on this?
