On a more serious note, 1150MHz on the N900 works on very few devices. And even on those that do work, you'll need to push your voltage up to the maximum, which burns battery life like crazy.

Leave your overckock at 850MHz. It'll run a lot better and stabler that way.
I didn't.

Stock voltage with this overclock.

Used it like this until I changed it for another phone, which was about 2 months of heavy use.

people will never learn that we are talking long term, not few days/weeks, but month/years!

Yes it will work for 2 month, but how quick (in month/years) will it die compared to another one which was never overclocked?

seriously...

EDIT: maybe you don't mind about yours, but i plan on keeping my N900 as long as possible as there are no real replacement phone actually available in the market (for me!)

I have had my phone overclocked to 1.15 ghz for about a year now and I live in Los Angeles. Never had any issues.

If anybody is curious, I bought my phone from nokia.com when they were still selling phones.

i always felt 1ghz was enough for a very smooth phone.
