Everything started yesterday I was trying to install any apps but i have an error : there is not enough memory. I start looking in sites an I found some script moveroot.sh. I type sudo gainroot
sh /home/user/MyDocs/moveroot.sh and then i open my file manager. Everything was in some strange simbols like you know command "End current task" it is "wget.end.current.ask" now or something like that. Everything start with "wget". Then I type :
umount /home/user/MyDocs
fsck -a /dev/mmcblk0p1
mount /dev/mmcblk0p1 /home/user (without MyDocs)
after that I mount /dev/mmcblk0p1 into /home/user/MyDocs and reboot with hope that everything will be awlright.
But when I turned on she loading everithing and nokia logo. Then my desktop is show and my battery is on the write corner my clock is like wgetfivehourminutes .. ib backgraund on my icons i see other icons i can't open anything after 5 second. For that I tell you that if I am fast I can open xterminal but this doesn't mean that i can close him. From xterminal I can type file box or opera and open them but thats all.I will do everything to repair n900. Tell me what to do or what i gotta chek with filebox or xterminal or some comand i don' know. Thanks for everything to now

You (moveroot.sh) wiped out your locale database. You might be able to restore it, but by having (temporarily) mounted MyDocs over /home/user you probably fvcked up other settings.

My advice would be to reflash completely. Next time be careful when executing scripts without first researching about exactly what they do and what they can break.

There *is* a safe way of reducing your locale database a lot. Ask if you need information.

My USB port is broken I charge my n900 with nokia battery charger. Is there some command in XTerminal to stop this script and return everything back?

You could try to install locales and recreate the locale-archive
Code:
sudo gainroot
apt-get install locales
Create the file /etc/locale.gen and write the locale that you need into it, would be
de_DE.UTF-8 UTF-8
for german or
en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8
for american english.Save the file and use the commands to recreate the archive
Code:
locale-gen
setlocale
Power off the device and pull the battery for some seconds. Then start it again.

If you still get errors, here http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...2&postcount=31 might be another way to the solution.
