I'd like a second opinion on the crazy bit, if I may.
Opera 12 has been working relatively well the past couple of days, both on Wi-Fi and over 3G. However, this has completely confused the hell outa me. Started Opera today via 3G, tried to log in to Facebook and got a CTD.
Restarted Opera and to my amazement I had 3 extra shortcuts in speed-dial Google+, Google Mail and Google search.
I'm positive I didn't put them there. I don't use G+,GMail or Google search.
Anyone else had those 3 added to speed-dial automatically?
Lol! Fair enough. I'm confused to...,but I loaded up "Facebook" after I got those use "Google Shortcuts" on my speed dial and it "Loaded Up!?!?" I haven't been successful an loading "Facebook" via "Opera 12" for like...,4 months or so. Like I said...,strange oh and yes...,confused.
Actually what worries me, is the fact that opera was/is fixed by downloading a script to our devices, no matter the fact there is bug somewhere in the binary, allowing the same script(with slightly different content) to crash it. With SIGILL. One would expect this to be fixed by uploading a new (fixed) version of the binary in repos, not by remotely tweaking the server .js'es or who knows what files.
On the other hand autobuilder is down, maybe that is the reason we don't have an update.

They have pushed these speed-dials not only upon N9-users. Same story on a Symbian phone. But I had no crashes after that addition, maybe because I do not use google. Facebook has its well-deserved place in /etc/hosts : "0.0.0.0 facebook.com"
As Opera is merely proprietary, who knows what else they do other than place unwanted speed-dials.
Still getting a CTD when launching over 3G. But on second launch it works flawlessly.
I did make a comment about it on Opera Mobile's Facebook page, but it never got a reply. Probably because Opera for maemo is a backroom project.
