i occasionally run into the problem of the All Inbox not being displayed or updated properly, with newer entries hidden top of the screen and the yellow border below the current inbox convos
not a big deal, usually a restart fixes it or a long-press Refresh, but it persists anyway sometimes so i have to restart it
hmmm... better, but not perfect. What I am seeing now is....
If my cursor is before the number, it inserts a new digit.
If my cursor is after any digit, it replaces the digit to its left.
examples:
"|1234" ... and then press "6" and I get "61234"
"12|34" ... and then press "6" and I get "1634"
"12|" ....... and then press "34" and I get "14"
That's just... I don't even... wow.
That field is just a QML text edit with a QML int validator.
I tested it just a moment ago on my n9, n900, c7, and desktop machines.
It behaved erratically only on the n900. How can the validator be so broken?
I'll need some time to figure out how to solve this and still keep the QML cross-platform...
I have a problem with authentication with the app.
OVI store claims it has version 0.3.1128 and this is what I have installed, though the date OVI reports is 5/9/11.
I'm using Nokia N9 and have tried to use both two factor and application specific passwords.
What do I do next?
Thanks.
What error do you see?
You are using the latest version of the app. Can you send me your logs from the setting screen by clicking on "Logs" and then "Send logs"?
Thanks.
Well, the version I use is 0.3.1128. Is that the latest version? This is what I see in the Google repository. Also I see that version in the OVI store, and this is where I got that app.
Also note this is Nokia N9.
I just sent you the logs.
The error message is about username or password incorrect. I have just used the same password for my Google Voice app on the BlackBerry so I'm sure it's correct. I even retyped it on the second attempt.

Oh wait. I get it now... I fixed two factor authentication in the source at CS 1140 but I've been so busy that I forgot to make a binary release out of it.
I'll push it to Ovi soon, but that may take up to a week to show up there.
I have one request thought. Since two factor auth is not buying me much (since it's coming to the same phone unit) is it possible to make it work with application specific password? (not only for the contacts but for voice as well).
