Any idea if this is working with the N8x if plugged into the USB port?

I know that at least USB host mode has to be enabled for this, but even with host mode enabled there is still the question, whether this requires special driver support.

Reason I'm asking is, that here in Germany from ePlus a very similar Modem is avaialable since quite a while. I'm just a bit hesitant to buy this unless I know that it really works with the N8x.

I know you can get it to work with Debian linux running on a x86 and if IIRC I read you can get it working on a Linksys SLUG.....

Edit:

Looks like it may work out-of-the-box {Hardware only, use will prob have to hack the dialler or port wvdial to get it working }

Just for info this device uses two USB ports and draws a lot of power you would almost definitely need a powered hub for this.

I can confirm that the it pull ALOT of power, my Dell Latitude gives out about power over-load when I plug it into {It comes with a mini-USB to 2 USB plugs, one for DATA+PWR & one for just added PWR}...
