I've followed a few guides on Maemo and other websites:
http://maemo.org/community/wiki/howt...workingdebian/
http://maemo.org/development/documen...etworking.html
http://idefix.go-nix.ca/nix/usbnet-scripts/HOWTO
and got usb networking up and running, it was pretty straightforward. I can ssh into my n810 from my linux desktop and vice versa. I set up masquerading and ip_forwarding, so I can use my desktop as a gateway. I can ping external sites like www.google.com from my n810, so I know dns and routing is working correctly and I can also login to msn via pidgin on my n810 so thats ok too. However I cannot browse the web or use any of the built-in apps to use this network connection, they all want to connect to wireless (but I have no wireless connection from work).
Is it possible to change this so built-in apps use the usb networking connection?
I have searched around, but can't find anything, any pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks,
James.
