    well i doubt it will be in continuation of maemo or meego ... "marketing-aly" speaking ...

    maybe, related to android ? the offer mentioned java and c++ ...

    well let's wait and see , all my focus is on jolla and tizen for now

    I said jolla :-) ... bb10 a bit but since I am stuck with the current tools and I cant test my development on device ... so It is not my priority, it may change once the devices are released ...

    Along mer , tizen is the only remaining open "active" linux platform , and dont forget that both are the offspring of meego \o/ ...

    you can still run Mer on the n900, which is good.
    The n900 isn't dead, and it will never be.

    It could just be natural turn-over and they are wanting to fill an existing role?

    Maybe some average joe left and they want to fill his place.

    nokia keeps few linux developers still around, like GSstreamer team, few software engineers.

    i think this is for nokia maps for android, but dont rule out posibility of them going android in q1 2013, when 920 fails
