It is reported in this thread before I see.

Looks like you should not use tools like HAM, but use the command line dpkg for this:
    Code:
    root
    dpkg -i osso-systemui-alarm_0.3.2_armel.deb
    Hope that helps you.

@em28, download on phone a file osso-systemui-alarm_0.3.2_armel.deb and then in the terminal enter:
    Code:
    root
    dpkg -i osso-systemui-alarm_0.3.2_armel.deb

I have sp-rich-core installed (because of http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...76#post1286276), but it took me a while to figure out that one has to create MyDocs/core-dumps manually (as opposed to what's written on the wiki - needs fixing once it's back up).

Anyway, in my tests with latest alarmui there were no cores dumped, possibly because systemui crashes before sp-rich-core is started? Need to investigate further.
Any development? DId you succeed to gather coredump?

If no, I can build .deb with logging enabled, so I will be at least able to see in which function is segfault.

@all - If some of you has problems with alarmui replacement, please report them so it can be ironed and made ready for inclusion in CSSU.

    I did it.

I downloaded the file both by phone and by PC,
    double checked file name,
    tryed installing thru X-Terminal,
    and tryed installing thru HAM.

The only way It look like something installed was thru FAM,
but I can't see where it made any change on the alarm UI.

What changes are you expecting, and why so?

As you could read in this thread, some bugs and memory leaks where fixed.

    +1

Feel free to open enhancement request against CSSU, if it is sane and there is someone with skills and enough time/will, it could be fulfilled

We should try to keep positive. If someone (who, as i take it, doesn't fully understand what really this particular .deb package is and what it should do after installation) installed it, checked alarm ui and was suprised to see no difference - it can be treated as a report that everything works all right and indistinguishable from stock alarm ui, at least that's how I would interpret it
