Is there any PIM software for OS 2008 that will sync contacts, calender, and notes between the IT and a computer running Windows XP?

You're going to have to define what software you're using for contacts, calendar and notes on Windows XP, as Windows XP does not have an organic client for any of those things.

Generally speaking, the enterprise level synchronization tools (i.e. Exchange, Lotus Notes etc) are pretty poor or non-existent for the PIM applications that run on OS2008. If you're using google applications, you might be in a bit better shape.

No. For the time being, and for the foreseeable future, the n810 will not replace a Palm.

It's a shame, because that's what I bought it for.

Yep, I returned my to Wal-Mart because of this (current) inability.

I wanted the PIM and also needed to see if garnet VM would run epoctrates for me, as i am required to have that program this comming summer.

Given that it couldn't do PIM easy ala palm, and couldnt run Epocratese, I decided that, while these things may come in the future, so might one that has wimax, or an android based device or, who knows what.

anyway, it was a really great little toy, but way to expensive to not do what I need easily.

So it's back to wal-mart, and my 430$ will be used another day.
