I found that the issue has been entered into github by @Tgalal

I've also posted a possible fix there

can anybody provide link for nightly 9? I installed nightly10, cant add group participants. Nightly 9 worked very nicely

Synchronization crashes wazapp with not so may contacts to sync ;-)
