It looks to me like the deb you downloaded is missing a few bytes. Did the MD5sum match. (don't have a 2007 system to check against)

Thats pretty screwed up. I guess somehow maemo.org is corrupting it. I'll try get that version fixed but suggest you use my (normal/working) debs here :

http://wardenclyffetower.com/MaemoFiles

Edit :
Hows this for weirdness, if (on 2007) i download both debs to mmc (instead of installing), my bora install is way bigger (like 2.5Megs instead of 600k). During the download the 99% cycled back to 0% so its as if it is browser issue. Whats weird is that it downloads fine from link above. I remember this bug but didnt see others mention it and for me it only occurred during final OS2007 which fixed sdhc (and yet introduced browser weirdness for me).

OS2008 downloads it fine.... and OS2007 can download fine from link above... so the bug probably is related to browser understanding the type of weirdness that goes on at maemo.org I downloaded from maemo.org on desktop vista/ie7 copied the deb over via ssh and 2007 uses that fine.

Can anyone else confirm this bug? Maybe i will redirect bora users to a web page on my site if others see same behavior.
