Ok I just installed the 9.17v and now my notifications are not working. Everything else works just fine. I even get the sound but cannot find a notification on the low power screen or the notifications area of homescreen What am I doing wrong? I searched in settings too. Cant find anything

Yo tenia ese problema, cerre el whatsapp, luego reinicien el telefono, y quedo funcionando perfecto!
Una consulta. Tengo nokia n9 y en el whatsapp no me aparece el doble check, es normal eso. tengo la ultima version, gracias de antemano!

El simple check significa que el mensaje ha llegado a los servidores de Whatsapp. El doble check significa que lo ha recibido (pero quizás no leído) el destinatario. En los grupos no hay doble check pues no se comprueba si ha llegado a todos los miembros del grupo. Si lo envías a un solo contacto, debería aparecer el doble check en cuanto le llegue.

The simple check means that the message have reached Whatsapp servers. Double check means that your contact received it (but maybe he/she haven't read it yet). Groups haven't double check, because Whatsapp doesn't test if all group members received it. If you send a message to a single contact, double check might be seen just when he/she receives it.
