empty but when the n9 wants to be a ***** it will be. Usually its not do able without draining the last 4% of the battery through nitdroid but still doable

Just make sure you downloaded the correct firmware files and then make sure that filenames you type to flasher command match these. If you launch the flasher telling it to look for main.bin at your present working directory and you don't have main.bin there, it's hardly suprising that it fails to find it.

Use full filename of the firmaware file in your flasher command OR rename it as main.bin.

I had this problem. Send it back to Nokia, I tried everything to no avail. 4 Days later the phone was back fixed under warrantee.

OS privilege problem. Your user doesn't have enough privilege to do that operation with the USB port. Try "sudo flasher -i" if you're on a *buntu variant, su root on Debian, or whatever command applies to get root privilege in your OS.

It really is not that hard to follow the flashing instructions (ohwell you might need to use search for cold flashing), but if your not able to search, then you might want to take it to nokia care, as reflashing it should only take a minute or two ;-)

sudo flasher -f -F -c FIASCO.IMG

-c = if i remember correct, it is cold flash. You can try without it fist!

If that is not working:
sudo flasher -f -F -c FIASCO.IMG EMMC.IMG
