ok, i have a problem with some broken libraries that i cant uninstall or reinstall...
it hapened because last night i was trying to install canola 2 on my
2007he 770. the isntallation droped when it was about to finish and then it turned off, a non working canola apeared installed after the reboot.
now i have several broken libraries..... i donk know if they are only necesary for canola2 or needed for other aplications...

but since that i cant see the the mp3s album covers on kagu or ukmp.....

theres a way to fix them? or at least to unistall them all at once, becuz theyre about 30 broken libs....

sorry about my bad englis and feel free to move this pos if isnt in the right place...

Have you tried installing again? Update might fix it.
Or it might be time to reflash the OS and start over.

the thing is that they still installed, theyre not in the installable aplication list and i dont think i can get the .debs files in somewhere else...

and i really dont want to reflash.........

but.. well my only problem right now is the albumart-less songs on kagu and ukmp can somebody tell me wichs is the exact library that generates the thumbail.....so i can try to replace the broken one....

To see a bit what's happening, you should open an xterm and issue this as root:
apt-get -f install

wao magic thing...... theyre fixed now... but i have a cuestion...
what does this apt-get -f install command exactly do?

because most of those libs are not default in the system, and it fixed em without internet connection.....

ah and i still having the noncover problem on kagu and ukmp.... any idea what could be the problem???

I wasn't aware that it worked on the 770 yet:

For Nokia 770 Owners (coming soon):
- Nokia ITOS 2006 - Gregale
- Nokia 770 with HE edition

One of the developers said they still had to take the 770's hardware into account and that it's working for them but they're still testing it (as of a few weeks ago).

Don't underestimate the power of Linux, it can connect through paranormal ways!

apt-get --fix-broken can fix simple problems of dependency inconsistency. It will try to find a usable solution by removing packages with broken dependencies or install missing dependencies.
Probably in your case, it removed the package with missing dependencies so that apt-get can work again without stopping on these errors. For removing, obviously you don't need a connection.

talking about the missing thumbails.... this is what i get when run ukmp from the terminal...:
"/home/user # ukmp
/usr/bin/MediaCenter.py:23: RuntimeWarning: import cdrom: No module named cdrom
import pygame, os
/usr/bin/MediaCenter.py:23: RuntimeWarning: import joystick: No module named joystick
import pygame, os
OSSO CONTEXT FAILED

import MediaCenter
File "/usr/bin/MediaCenter.py", line 439, in <module>
class BMERequest(dbus.service.Object):
NameError: name 'dbus' is not defined"

and this with kagu:

"/home/user # kagu
./kagu.py:27: RuntimeWarning: import cdrom: No module named cdrom
import os, pygame, time, gc
./kagu.py:27: RuntimeWarning: import joystick: No module named joystick
import os, pygame, time, gc
Fatal Python error: (pygame parachute) Segmentation Fault
could not initialize osso context
Error initializing DBusApi

Aborted"

im not to much into this, but it seems that in boot cases dbus is the problem..i have downloaded all the libs with dbus on the name...... and the problem persist...

what else can i do???
