Yes, I know why official clients overheat phones, but will keep that trade secret for myself. I chose a more conservative approach to that problem.

This app is awesome, however I've found a couple of bugs, in the first image this screen is the one just after SoundHound finds the song, as you can see there are some weird characters showing, the same happens on history, however when I tap the song the track screen comes again and some characters are fixed.

I also think that when SoundHound is matching songs, instead of just giving you one song will be better to give you a list (I dunno 3 or 4 more songs) so we can choose the correct one, as sometimes it gets the right song but not the right artist.

Well, I did some work and pushed the update.
Lets see what happens after you update.
On the first screenshot a c k is from Track.
How did that happen? You don't have access to QMLs. So declarative loader must be messed up.
Are you using any mods on your phone?

I'm now considering bying this application after all the positive feedback

It is one of the only application on Nokia Store with 5 stars.
And yeah 4 pounds is worth it !

compared to android's shazam: those servers are really better and much faster (5 seconds to find a song)
is there something to do to improve speed and find songs in both servers?

knobtviker, I just couldn't buy SoundWave at Brazil's Nokia Store - according to that sh*** store, my credit cards are not valid. Will try later today or tomorrow. I've used SoundHound over Symbian and liked very much. My N9 is missing something like that.

I have a phoblet (Samsung Note 2) that was bought only for book-reading purposes, while continue to use N9 as cellphone. But have to admit: Google Play is a thousand times better than Nokia Store. Once you inform your credit card when first accessing Nokia Play, you'll never more be asked for a card again. At Nokia Store, every time you buy some app, have to inform a new card number, because that informed before turns to "invalid". Every time!

I really don't need SoundWave in my N9, but love (for my N9) speaks louder and I really WANT it!

Hope can soon to buy SoundWave.

Something among those mods is messing with perfectly clean Qt/QML code.

Forgot if I mentioned this here, 0.1.18 is pending in QA.

It fixes some small visual bugs and that character encoding bug which came out of parsing XML.

When it's out, will try to fix some other stuff too...
