So the attached obexd-0.46 dev1 fixed Win -> N900 (FTP, OPP). But N900 -> Win is still broken (problem with RFCOMM). Right?
Had you re-pair the Win and N900 once again?

N900 -> Win - I have bad news. It's in closed packages and it supports only OPP over RFCOMM So the only way is to find what the SW on Symbian do to enable creating of COM on Win side.

Hmm. Then how is "Share" -> "Send via Bluetooth" option in stock N900 file manager supposed to be used? pinochio wrote that:

EDIT1: SymbianOPM connection agent IIRC creates a new virtual comport. But IIRC this was needed _only for sync_ with OPM, not for file transfer with desktop. I can't test because N73 was/is dead in the water (or beer, actually).

EDIT2: IIRC it did't work before, but BT file transfer from N900 -> Android does work (now?).

EDIT3: yes, i did re-pair.

It's hardcoded in some sharing-dialogs and libconbtui0 and it calls bluez to estabilish Serial communication over BT (RFCOMM). So if you have problem on Win side to estabilish RFCOMM it's a problem for maemo. We need to create some BT COM port on win side to have working N900 OPP -> Win.

Personaly I think that Pinochio has a little bit different problem than you. Or does it works to you (N900 -> Win) with stock kernel + stock obexd?

IRC #maemo-ssu is more efficient ...

It's stock kernel + stock bluez + stock obexd.

I want to see:

1) stock kernel + stock bluez + obexd-0.46 (from merlin1991.at - without dev1 - FTP + OPP version downgrading)
2) cssu stable/testing/thumb or KP kernel + stock bluez + obexd-0.46 (dev1 I attached to TMO on prev page).

Which version librtcom-eventlogger1-async to install?

I have installed, and after a reboot I can not go on the N900.
It also automatically installed Bluetooth SYNC service, can there be a problem?

Here is my syslog for obexd_0.46...dev1.

pinochio: it seems it's working well now. So you have more space for experiments

1) It seems it needs laptop restart (and maybe some time) for cleaning some caches

2) obexd_0.46 dev1 is working (also syslog5 shows that)
3) it'll be nice if you can check obexd_0.46 non-dev1 (from merlin1991.at) once again.
4) please let's test the working obexd_0.46 (non-dev1/dev1) also with cssu-thumb/testing/stable (or what do you want to use)

5) last test is if Bluetooth OPP is working from N900 -> Win
- use file manager in N900. And use menu Share -> via Bluetooth if you can receive file on Win side.
