Known issue with logging in on maemo.org (but not *.maemo.org). It's been noticed to Nemein, ticket status "unassigned" or Niels is working on it but we don't know.
Generally it's autobuilder-related and autobuilder is known to not work yet.
    Sorry for the inconvenience
    Thanks for reporting

[2013-02-04 19:15:51] <mashiara> DocScrutinizer05: 25MBit/s is the limit for that port on the switch (for continuous
    [2013-02-04 19:15:58] <mashiara> 35MBit burst)
    [2013-02-04 19:16:05] <DocScrutinizer05> mhm
    [2013-02-04 19:16:12] <DocScrutinizer05> obviously, yes
[2013-02-04 19:16:32] <DocScrutinizer05> is there a way to get more bandwidth?
    [2013-02-04 19:17:25] <mashiara> yes, up to 100Mbit burst
    [2013-02-04 19:17:45] <DocScrutinizer05> might help
[2013-02-04 19:18:13] <DocScrutinizer05> we still hope for traffic to taper down, after all devices got their update
[2013-02-04 19:18:31] <DocScrutinizer05> but that won't happen if we can't keep up with the backlog
    [2013-02-04 19:18:53] <mashiara> I'll add more BW tomorrow
    [2013-02-04 19:18:57] <DocScrutinizer05> thanks

    Sir,

When can I expect repositories restored? Is the non-functioning of Cutetube qml a result of this migration?

[2013-02-05 10:25:12] <mashiara> warfare: the stage external port is now configured for 75Mbit continuous and 100Mbit burst limits
[2013-02-05 10:26:01] <warfare> mashiara: thanks, I'll open the flood gates.

    [2013-02-05 11:40:26] <DocScrutinizer05> M4rtinK: how's rmo speed for you now?
    [2013-02-05 11:40:47] <M4rtinK> DocScrutinizer05: seems finally usable
    [2013-02-05 11:40:53] <DocScrutinizer05> good :-D
[2013-02-05 11:41:08] <M4rtinK> DocScrutinizer05: was abysmal till yesterday, now it is ok

We are catching up with backlog, uplink already out of saturation and nicely fluctuating between 50 and 70Mbps. Means there should be no waiting connections any more. number of concurrent connections gone down from ~4000 to ~500. We're definitely in the green range again. finally.
Next problem: hashsum error. A totally different critter that sneaked in even before 2012-10-10.

    cheers

any news when repos will be back online ? Extras, Extras testing and CSSU-T failed to refresh. and when i tried to install extra decoders support via apt-get it gave a error like hashsum mismatch. any estimate for these errors when they will get fixed ?

repo.maemo.org is back since a ~week but it was having issues due to the uplink speed being just 25Mb/s hence it wasn't being able to serve the 30-40,000 N900s connecting to it everyday.

As of now the uplink speed has increased to 100Mb/s meaning it should finally be usable for most people.

Hash sum mismatch is a bug that will now be the priority to be resolved for all those working on it. There is no fix estimation of when it will be fixed but considering Nemein managed the 100Mb/s uplink only today I think they would need a few days at the bare minimum to fix up the hash sum mismatches.
