you guys know those when you call and get machine that asks you to dial numbers to get through a menu (like dial 1 for english and 2 for chinese for eg) ...

it doesn't work after the upgrade

a get the dialpad, keep pressing numbers and nothing happens ... there is no dialing, the number doesn't apper on the screen and, of course, it is not dialed

anyone else got that? is this a known bug?
is there a setting somewhere that i missed clicking?

thank you!

Apologies for necrobumping, but I get this exact problem and as far as I can find this is the only thread I can on this.

I'm using CSSU Thumb but dunno if that will be related.

Anyone know anything about this? I can't access my voicemail because of it.

Never had or heard of this trouble.

As a workaround/diagnosis you could try editing the number you dial.

Example: if voicemail is 901

dial 901p2
for option 2 in the menu.

A hildon banner should display "Sending DTMF"

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try that as a workaround for now.

If it's rare I'm not sure whether it'll clear up itself or not.

Okay it was fixed with a reboot - however it had persisted over a reboot before I posted on here. This time it was after a battery change and the time/date reset. I probably should have pulled the battery before, but I was using the phone as well.
