Since it's an unknown network error I don't know what to tell you.
Scorpius, this is the exact same problem that I had. For me the problem occurred when the network disconnected and reconnected multiple times in sequence. However, I no longer have this issue, as my network connection is now stable.
I was able to reproduce the problem before; I will try and list the steps to reproduce it.
Recently, I got a weird situation where Yappari seems to lost link with whatsapp server after a period of time left unuse. However the indicator shows I am loged in, but I never able to send any message out (can see the gray tick). I have to manual disconnect Yappari and restart again in order to send messages, here is part of the log where it start can't send out message, if you need the full log (about 500kb, I keep delete the old log), I can mail to you.
I have managed to reproduce the crash, the steps is as follows:
1.Launch Yappari and wait until it connects and syncs all contacts.
2.Disconnect network -WIFI in my case- and wait until Yappari is waiting for connection.
3.Reconnect network and as soon as Yappari is logged in disconnect again.
4.Yappari will now try and reconnect or ask for connection depending on settings, so stop it from connecting (to simulate network not being available).
5.Yappari will now crash and the status-menu widget will indicate: waiting for connection.
I hope the procedures help in solving the problem.
There is a constant problem when using yappari (at least in my experience), i was able to send multimedia to other user but no luck when receiving from them. I do hope this issue would fixed on the next update or version.
Nevertheless, personally i'm in debt a live to the creator for his great efforts to make this awesome app comes true.
What do you mean by can't see anybody number? Yappari contact is synchronize with your phone book.
1. If the person you want to see his/her number is in your phone book/contact list, you can always look his/her number phone book/contact list
2. If the person you want to see his/her number is not in your phone book/contact but you're chat with him/her directly, it will show up in Yappari recent chat
3. If the person you want to see his/her number is not in your phone book/contact and you're chatting indirectly (in a group), you can always look his/her number in yappari.log
