I downloaded rdesktop the other day, to my n810. It works great the first time you try to connect, but every time after that it shows a "bad window" X11 error message. Then if I reboot the n810, it works again, but just for one connection.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any solution?

I'm assuming there are people here who use rdesktop on OS2008 without problems? Can you tell me what version of rdesktop you're using? (dpkg -l rdesktop from xterm)

I have rdesktop 1.5.0 from http://wardenclyffetower.com/MaemoFiles/utils/ (use it with grcm : Remote Connection Manager because it's CLI only)
and no problemo

He's right it does. Mine is the latest version running on the latest 0s2008.

However its more odd. If you repeatedly try to start rdesktop evenetualy it will catch and work. When it does work its great.

NB hardware keys,
menu to "right click"
full screen button (top left) to see an auto-minimised task bar (which is very useful so you get the full real estate of you N***
Also, FN works by holding FN when pressing other key not FN 'then' other key.

same issue here, latest one, os2008 nokia 800. Drives me nuts, I have to keep re-running it for it to eventually log on. But, it's fanstastic once it connects.

How can I use the right mouse button? Thank you! If you wait some minutes, connection works again.

isn't it the little button under the directional-pad thing on the left?

if using the command line build you'll need to map the buttons yourself.

see this post for info on how :
