Why don't you take the battery out and charge it with an external charger?

I took out the battery and charged it using a different nokia phone, that is how am currently using my nokia phone.

Today morning all of sudden after the phone got switched off due to lack of battery charge, it refused accept any charge through the usb cable or through the charger. I even thought of flashing the device , by pressing the "u" button , but my pc gave out an error message saying that "the usb device is not recognised".

I even reset the mce settings , because i was wondering whether it could have caused some problems. But still no use.

I forgot to recharge my Mugen battery when it came down to less than 10% capacity. It eventually ran out of power and went dead. Could not be charged using regular method (due to software issues recharge won't start if battery is completely dead). I bough a cheap external charger from Amazon and was able to revive it. Or maybe you need to buy a new battery?

I have a replacement battery with enough charge to boot up the mobile, even the replacement battery is not getting charged with that socket. When i connect the usb cable i see two led blinks and then white progress line in the battery after that it goes dead.

Finally i had it resolved, I changed the LED patterns for charging and fully charged settings. Later i restarted the mce

initctl mce stop
initctl mce start

Then i switched off the phone, kept the u button pressed and connected the usb cable, later my mobile started charging...
