Aside from the fact that one would have to carry two devices, why wouldn't this be a better deal then activating Navicor?

Probably an unfair question but I think it points out the serious overpricing of the Navicor software.

It's an unfair question because you're comparing apples to oranges. Compare Navicore to a PDA software solution (e.g. Tomtom, CoPilot, Garmin Navigator, etc) and the prices are similar.

[Though you open up another can of worms whereby the others offer much better route navigation than Wayfinder for a similar price.]
