If I understand correctly, N900 rescue OS can be used in case of not-working screen, as it boots into a bash shell (command-line interface, doesn't require touch-screen). So, as long as the keyboard works, it should be possible to use it to get files through Mass storage mode. Mounting maemo root, USB Mass-Storage mode, and possibly WiFi support. Read documentation: it seems fairly simple. It would have been easier if the OS announced output aloud...

Nothing has happend still i think. Go to servicmen ask him to clean the bord and reheat it . It will work fine .or if you talk about damage then likely the lcd is shorted.
Ps.at the moment the more you use yr device the more it gets eroded
