Thanks for the update!

Had to install 'old' version first.
It's missing some lib*.* Files when installing just the .deb file.

Think it's a handy app.

Yes, dependencies are not installed automatically when installing from deb-file. When this deb-file will be tested and published in respository, required libs will be installing automatically.

The main quesition: Does 1.4 works?

Does it display Bible text well? Does verse selection work as expected?

I have sold my N900 1.5 years ago and I've created this build blindly, without any testing. So, could you please report me how does it work?

Yep...it downloads the text, and all seems to be working.
I'll give it a full try-out tonight when i'm at home.

NWTbible works great in online mode, but loading failed when reading nwtbible offline.

same here...says its downloading,that takes awhile.
As soon your offline, its lost....

Where does it store the files?

The only solution now is pushing forward button below and loading chapter by chapter from genesis to revelation so nwtbible can be used for offline reading.

Wow, you guys deserve a pat in the head for being good testers.

I, on the other hand, am still with the old version. I'm hoping a fixed new one comes soon.

Sorry, guys, i've missed notifications from the forum about new posts for a some reason

So, automatic downloading doesn't work anymore while pre-downloading by hands does? Did I understood correctly?
