Hi,

Are there any alternative rss feed readers to the built-in one os2008?

Thanks for attention in this matter.

Try Claws mail with the RSSYL plugin. I use it and like it a lot more than the built in one.

Feedelity (http://david.hautbois.free.fr/joomla...nc=select&id=7) is nice if you want to read the linked articles offline.

Google Reader took a huge leap into functionality and user-friendliness with OS2008. It's far from being lightning-fast, but it works for me.

Feedelity installed just great for me, but ... it doesn't open up or do anything. I had such hopes! I'm using an N800 with OS2008.

Google Reader doesn't work in offline mode, does it?

My pal is currently developing a new one. It's just reached a runnable alpha stage and now has a simple one click install file. It's based on RubyGems and seems like it's heading in the right direction.

He wants to iron out a few bugs and put some config options in there before a public beta release in a few weeks. I'm testing it and I'm keen for it to get there... so I'll keep badgering him..

They dowload the information when connected. I use claws with rssyl like this. Before I head out I update all the feeds. I can then read them later without a connection. No pictures though unless I have connection.
