Converting to use MAFW dbus calls should be straight forward. Does it need a GUI? What options would the UI have?

I use the unlock camera key mod and shortcutd to skip tracks personally. I know this involves touching the cam key.

what about controling with accelerometer
somthing like hitting the corners of the phone for commands
so if you have your phone in your pocket you do not ned to take out.
and some voice feedbek with espeak.
the acceleromete will eat lot of power?

I thought the trend these days was voice commands. It sounded bogus to me til I saw someone use it with an Android phone while driving. That was impressive.
