I am trying to install the nitdroid but I cant even get started since I am missing the bzip2 program. Where can I found it or is there any other way to do it?

It's in the repositories, but as it's a command-line application, it doesn't show up in app manager. Make sure you've got rootsh installed, then do (in X Terminal):
Code:
sudo gainroot
apt-get install bzip2

That was almost TO simple. Thanks alot for the help!
Now lets install that thing.

sir ...
it is not working .
i opened the X-terminal and typed
sudo gainroot
then i typed
cd /home/user/MyDocs/
then i did ..

apt-get update

and then ....

apt-get install bzip2

and it gave me the error .....


" the package is not available, but referred to by other package" somethivng like that ....
what should i do.....???


i have installed some bzip.exe and .tar files from imnternet but nothing is working.
i am nt tech savvy ...so please help me....

Make sure Nokia's default repositories (i.e. downloads.maemo.nokia.com) are enabled and updated and try again.
If it doesn't work download libbz2 and bzip2 manually and install with dpkg.
