This sounds weird, I know at least one more person who has same problem as me. Did you use the deb version posted few post ago ? About speed loss, you could see if you follow the countdown clock in Zen Mode, for me: in game/reallife 1.30/2:40 .
Ah, sorry, you're right, it is slower, in Zen Mode it's just more apparent. Version 1.5.2 seem to be a bit faster. I'm using apkenv packed in .tar.gz from this post.

Well, for example, in World of Goo, when I select the chapter or about screen, sound just starts playing. Same with Fruit Ninja or Cut the Rope. First menu screen is silent until I select something.
1.0.6. It's just sometimes a bit choppy, probably because of a heavy swapping, but playable.
Did you play on n900?
Or does someone can confirm if WorldOfGoo works on n900and with which version? As for me, 1.0.6 and 1.0.5 don't work on n900 with the last apkenv (apkenv_20130423_N900_Xes.tar.gz)
