If the only way to do it its by contacting Nokia Care , than I'm doomed because there isn't any Nokia Care in my country
Anyway hope they can fix yours and than you can get any info of which was the problem, and share it with us.
Thank you

I'm told it will be Friday before my phone gets to Dublin so next week before I get any news. I'll keep you posted. So far Nokia Care think I have damaged a memory chip!

The error message "Downgrade Disallowed" is the reason.
You need to flash the device with the same or later version than what's in the device currently.

"DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3_PR_001" is smaller version than "DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3.335.1_PR_335"

Read what I said earlier:
"DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3_PR_001" is smaller version than "DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3.335.1_PR_335"
You cannot flash a smaller version on top of a larger version.
Please use the same or later version as on your device.

The link you posted its not working, anyway I got to the N9 firmware but there are a lot of options. Which should I choose to download and flash?
http://www.mrcrab.net/nokia/Nokia_N9...uctType=RM-696

Also another problem is that since i purchased the phone online, and it arrived to me with the 1.3 software, I dont know which software was previously on the phone, so I dont really know what to download
I just did a Chinese N9 myself, it can be done . go back and look at my previous posts in this thread.

I have also seen that msg. I would not give up yet.
my sim tray was a 059M7K1 which I also had flashed a 059J250.
both ran fine on my device.
please search my previous in this forum on "another chinese story" posts and you will see how I transformed my hong kong N9 into a german one. not knowing your goal w/ the device. I would say at the least you need to do a CMT flash exactly as I did.

I see that you have product code 059K172 which didnt get PR1.3 as per files available there. So you need to open following link and download file
Dfl61 Harmattan 30.2012.07-1 Pr Legacy 001-oem1-958 Arm.bin
This is 1.16 GB file. use this file for cmt only flash.
