Forum logic continues to elude me..

In any case, I have, as malkavian suggested, partly concealed my phone number and figured I'd just attach it to this message.

Due to the, yet again, elusive and limiting logic of forum websites I was forced to archive it in a .zip.

... Suppose I could've just put it in a .txt or .doc... ah well ^^

Well even though there is no error in the log, it really looks like registration stopped working.

I don't know if it's a temporary problem in the WhatsApp servers or if they changed something.

The log says that WhatsApp servers indeed tried to send the SMS and voice call.

I tried to register a local number here and I didn't get the SMS or the call either. It's weird.

BTW the WhatsApp in the Android device I use for testing with Yappari expired and it WON'T renew for free.

So I can confirm all Android devices are now forced to pay to continue the service. Looks like Nokia WhatsApp users (including Yappari) are still renewing for free at least one more year.

i have the similar problem with Fillask.i cant registering and the error is fail to send sms so even when i press call me nothing happen.i will upload the log so you can see if i did anything wrong

Your log only says that you should retry in a day, but it doesn't show the original error.

Anyway I tried myself to register and never got the SMS, even though the interaction with the WhatsApp servers was successful and no errors were found.

So let's try tomorrow (Monday), maybe something went down in the registration servers and they don't work on weekends...

scorpius de verdad muchas gracias..!! que grande aporte es yappari..!! y siempre lo sigues actualizando..!! como recomendacion se podria facilitar un poco el momento de subir o enviar multimedia d una forma q se abra la foto y en el icono de compartir nos salga yappari ... algo asi como con el whatsapp..!! muchas gracias por yappari..!!!

Lo tendré en cuenta para cuando Yappari alcance la versión 1.0.0 (cuando toda la funcionalidad principal esté lista).

Lamentablemente el Sharing en Maemo es algo complicado y hay que escribir todo un programa aparte para ello (un plugin). Hay que implementar el "Account setup" (Settings -> Sharing Accounts -> New), el sharing como tal (cuando le das a Share via Service en una imagen) y a su vez la interfaz en Yappari que acepte estas opciones.

Debo confesar que eres la primera persona que conozco que usa estos servicios. En +4 años con el N900 jamás he seleccionado la opción "Share" ni conozco a más nadie que la use.

Que buena idea! no habia pensado en eso. Yo poco utilizo esa opcion, pero con Yappari en el movil esa opcion seria muy muy util. Pero bueno ya eso seria opciones extras en el futuro, yo entiendo lo dificil y complejo de implementarlo y como esta ahorita la aplicacion creo ya tiene lo principal. Porsupuesto todas las mejoras que vengan seran muy agradecidas.

pues seria un poco mas facil pa enviar multimedia la verdad..!! tampoco es q sea experto usando mi n900 la verdad es q lo utilizo muy poco..!! pero gracias a ti y al yappari ahora lo q mas utilizo es justamente esta app..!! y gracias por ello..!! de lo q e leido y d los problemas que han tenido.. a mi solo me paso que no podia enviar imagenes antes d la ultima actualizacion..!! d ahi yappari siempre ha estado perfecto..!!!
