Hey guys,

So I started the flashing process with the secure erase option and it's taking forever...

I was wondering if it's safe to abort the process and start it again without secure erase?

Code:
user@kiwi> flasher -f -F N9_
N9_EMMC.bin N9_MAIN.bin
user@kiwi> flasher -f -F N9_MAIN.bin --erase-user-data=secure
flasher 3.12.1 (Oct 5 2011) Harmattan

I would leave it running for few hours at least.
Better to wait for 3-4 hours before aborting.

I doubt the sim tray would be changed, it is more likely that someone has changed the product code and forced another codes software that is not being accepted by the patient/N9.
the sim error and wifi problem tell us that you have a a problem at least with the CMT or possibly the whole PR.....?? .bin file.
Hello!
Sorry for my absence and updates these days. Had some things to take care of.
Ok back to the problem, the situation is like this:
I've done some research on Phoenix software, it seems pretty simple but I cant get to work. Every time I try it, after pressing the "..." button and after than "OK" button to select firmware it keeps giving me an error saying:
"Currently selected data - package retrieval failed: 0x840E0818 (-2079455208) -Framework: The digital signature verification failed because the signature file could not be found."
Haven't found any solution about it yet. Also I could even get any info for the phone from Phoenix, it doesn't recognize the phone at all.
I managed to find some info which seems pretty confusing (maybe only to me). The phone IMEI (which is stamped on the top of the phone, when you open the USB and SIM cap) its the same with the IMEI on the phone box.
The strange part is that the name of the phone on the box is:
"N9 NV LTAU CYAN/AZUL" but the name of the phone suggested from the SIM tray is "NDT LTA Cyan 16GB"
Any idea on what does this mean, or its the same thing?

this is how I do it:
open phoenix pgm.
click ..file..then open product... scroll down to RM-696 click OK
click tools..select data package download
insert the code you want to download
note the download path and change if necessary
click check availability, if available then download
is this the same procedure you have tried?
if not try this and let me know if you get anything?

I wonder why are you using this Phoenix thing, how is that different from the normal Harmattan flasher utility?

No I wasn't doing it the way you said. I was doing it as was specified on a "how to guide". Anyway I tried as you say but the problem is that after clicking: File > Open Product > I select the product and click OK > than I go to Tools but it doesn't show any "data package download".
Ive tried it with the phone turned on and off, and also with no phone connected.
The options it shows are:
Label printing
Options (also in the options there isn't any data package download)
Smart card activator
Certificate restore BB5
CU-4 / terminal current consumption
Product code change

The version of phoenix I'm using is Phoenix Service Software 2012.50.001.49220. At the lower right corner of the product it says Product not authenticated with SuperDongle, maybe this has to do something?

I dont know the difference between both but Ive tried the normal Harmattan flasher and it didn't do anything, I always got the same error over and over.
