I just hope Myriad's implementation is better than BBX's, the latter has been copping lots of flack, so if the former's better OOTB that'll be a boost to Sailfish's wider appeal.

In the recent interview to Technonation CTO Mosconi said that "There are no issues with performance [of the Android apps], we don't know yet how much faster they will be on our OS, but they should gain something in terms of speed".
So they expect to run at least on par with the original platform (which IMHO is not so surprising, considering Java+VM Android's nature).

Have to somewhat agree though, if it's only orange or green (which we don't know), then I hope it's not intense orange or green, make it slightly subdued.
Intense will appeal to some users but overall it's too polarising, if they want to appeal to a broader swathe of users they'll need to "dial it down"...
Ultimately it's just colours we're talking about, there's MANY other things that are way more important to most avg/power users, that's what I want to hear about.
