Winamp on n900? - maemo.org

Hi,

I don't like the media player on the N900. Would it be possible to have something like Winamp on the phone? or is something like that already availible?

Winamp, like its name says, is for Windows.

However, there are a bunch of other media players for the N900.
Look around in the Multimedia section of the Application Manager, and on this forum.

there is xmms2 and mpd ports for maemo. try to port some client winamp look like. but it would be useless on such small screen

There is no winamp for Maemo. Is available only for android and maybe for windows m. too. Use "Some Player" instead. Is capable to load folders(add files from/load folder) like winamp, EQ/dB +-12 gain available, URL Radio, sleeper time,library (useless for me), playlists, and many more.
