I don't know much qt, but if you can manage to get an event when you reach the bottom of the scroll you can disable auto-scroll, when scrolling, or when pressing the widget, then re-enable when scrolling to the bottom.

Dear scorpius...
my problem is that large size images and audio clips take lot of time in sharing with anyone or in group. plz help!

Get a faster connection?

I don't know how I could help you since it depends on the speed your ISP is capable of.

Hello Scorpius,

Today just before some time Yappari crashed and when I am trying to run an application it gets to the starting screen where it fetches the data and get connected to whatsapp server but then It crashes and disappears.

When I check processes it shows yappari running. i am attaching the log for the same.

Please help.

Hey, here are some ideas, hope some of them are doable

- "preview"images to show up bigger like in whatsApp
- chance to define the directory from where to choose the multimedia
- selection of most-used smileys like in WhatsApp
- order of chats to remain the right way when for example powering off/on
- group display images
- When for example browsing pics in gallery, a chance to share straight to Yappari

Oh!!! Wow... I run a command apt-get update and now there are two yappari windows running. attaching a screen shot.

Delete file /home/user/.yappari/chats.db and you'll be fine. Too bad your log doesn't show what caused the crash.

Chat view should be: the highest always is the one wheres the latest activity(chatting), right?
This is okay as you use the app (when u chat, chat rises to top in the list view), but when powering the device off and opening Yappari again, I have most of the group chats upper, then person chats and last(lowest) yet again a group chat. So order is not the same as before powering off.

I had the group dummy icons. the groups dont seem to take the display image automatically, unless you go to group and then group info -> then the picture is updated.
