Ancelad, yes it work like it should work. You just need rotate you image before applying

PS. Sorry, i not mentioned this in pdf.. That mean image should be 854x480 (in landscape view), if you created 480x854 (portrait view), just rotate it before applying.

One thing to wonder about. When will startup3/nokia-logo-end should be displayed? I can not see it ever.

i not remember exactly Did you tried 3 different images?

Yes, I made three very different images that surely I would see them.
But who need to reboot anymore.
