Swipe (push) to close is not included yet in emulator. It's a known issue on sailfishos.org.

I had this weird dream last night that I won a sailfish phone. It was yellow, thin and shaped like a jelly bean and felt slightly rubbery so it would not slip from your hand. Someone handed it to me and said you won and I was just staring at it going wtf?

Which makes me wonder (now that I am awake) if sailfish can be licensed out may we not see android themed sailfish phones?

You know once an image gets out XDA is going to mod the crap out of it.

Also a suggestion for their first tv commercial in China they could do something similar to this.

Where you play on the "other half" idea and have a transition from left to right..

Though it is not a good idea to have several threads about the same thing, you were doing a very good job following up and summarizing the requests.

Hopefully jalyst will at least put a link with heading in the first post to your post above. Otherwise, I am afraid, your list will be lost in this thread.

I've fallen way behind, too busy IRL, apologies for the delay...
I'll initiate what onethreepella & I discussed soon, this'll make it easier for everyone to take more responsibility in maintaining the content, instead of just 1-2 people.
Eventually we'll lock-it-down again, & leave it to just a handful of people to maintain/manage etc.

Samsung could buy jolla for almost no money(for them), put sailfish in three different devices, all with different size and spec. Instant success. That would be much cheaper then develop their own android copy. Now, what don't they?

Saildish in a real highend device would rock. My criticism are against jolla HW.

I haven't seen this video yet from China.
    http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNTY3MzIyNjky.html
    (^commercial plays before video)

*Shows left and right swipe on messaging cover,
*confirms again the bezel will be smaller on production device
*mentions that app store screen will be open including number of stores and include some type of social media interface to it differentiating it from other OS's approach to apps.
*side by side compare to iphone size
    -
Also in another video I saw elsewhere earlier this week a jolla staff mentioned a kid mode other half to keep your kids from causing any damage to your data on the phone.

what I learned from above video: possible 2nd half with extra battery, camera flash, you name it...as long as 3rd party developers see cash in it it may come available.
And since even for N900 the most diverse peripheries have appeared (game grip, mugen battery etc..)
I consider this good news for our hardware keyboard.

Other bits from that video: actual screen will be larger (indeed) phone will be thinner (sigh...why.. It looks pretty outdated already.. give me IR and FM in the standard half, ok.)
