Maybe waiting for hammering-out bugs (like ringtone bug) is good idea?

This happened a couple of weeks ago and was something that google did. It has been sorted with the latest version of cssu stable yesterday. I guess cssu testing will not be far behind. freemangordon is your guy to ask.

You may upgrade to the latest -testing, this is the idea behind having both -thumb and -testing repos enabled. upgrading to -testing will only install those packages that are newer. As soon as I have some spare time I'll issue a new -thumb*

Damn the mass media in France is crap - I've seen nothing about this.

When I searched on the web I found this, but that seems rather out of date!

Anyway - stay safe and victory to the people!

UK reported on Brazil, but nothing about what's going on there.

I decided to setup a thumb target for scratchbox earlier. Only test I've done so far is with rtmpdump, which shaves about 2kb each off both librtmp0 and rtmpdump debs.

What is the preferred method for generating debs? Particularly in terms of correctly generating version suffix. Does it depend on changelog entry?

I've found out about the bug in FREMANTLE_ARMEL.environment defining thumb, so I've removed that. I can now look for "thumb" in DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS and define -mthumb in debian/rules based on that. I wondered if there is an option for adding a version suffix via rules to simplify the process.
