Probably the same, I don't care who created what, this would NEVER change my point of view. Even if Jolla went for WP, I'd definitely lose interest in them.
But I think that if WP was made by Nokia, it'd be even crappier than it is now.

It probably would have been the same view I had when I started out on Maemo and got more and more jaded... only it probably would have been a faster downhill slide right from the start, considering how thoroughly badly-run and closed it is on every reason I criticized Maemo for. Basically, objectively, I don't think it matters one lick who developed it: bad platform is bad.

Interesting. I actually see a tad potential in WP, even now. If it was developed by Nokia, I'd imagine the development pafe would be faster, suiting itself with the hardware legend. I think that WP is too complicated for the users (I tried it myself and had a hard time navigating, even the workers were confused). It's simplicity has made the UX more complicated. Don't go flaming me about WP being good, I just think there's a tiny potential in it.

I really, really don't think you can be flamed with people trying to convince you that WP is good! Hahahahahah! That really cracked me up.

If it had been developed by Nokia and had nothing to do with Microsoft in the first place, it wouldn't have been Windows Phone. We already saw that and how they were already screwing that up LONG before they took a badly trending company and nosedived it even harder with Windows Phone. I don't have confidence in Nokia now and, frankly, I don't think I they deserved it before Windows phone either.

My opinion in one sentence: Starting the Maemo project was the best direction they took--but it almost immediately was ruined by corporate thinking, unreasonable legal paranoia without bothering themselves to truly understand them and, of course, terrible financial allocations and investments.

Is it true? Did the t-shirts start shipping already? Cause the pre-order campaign hasn't ended yet!

But wouldn't that be illegal? Since they released a long time ago a "What to use and what to not use" as logos on t-shirts?
