Hi community !

I would like to flash my N9, because I am using it with this "Warning: You have modified ..." message at every boot. So I cannot use the security code. It's pretty uncomfortable since I am traveling and I sometimes have to let my phone charging in some random backpackers room.

After having googled some, I understand that my problem comes from the fact that I change the product number of my N9 with NSSPro (changed the HW Revision number as well ). I understand too that I will have to use NSSPro again to put the right HW Revision number.

My problem, and that's why I am writing this message, is that I cannot manage to find what are the N9's HW Revision numbers and which one I have to use. Could you please help me with that issue?

Well... I know an N950 which has HW revision number 1124. The sticker with this number is under the battery. The problem is, the battery is difficult to remove, and re-using the screws is not recommended at all.

Well, maybe, you will have to look under the battery, after all, if NSSPro completely erased the original value. The service manuals for N9.

Or, you could try changing HW revision number until the yellow warning disappears. Possible values are: 1503, 1504, 1505, 1506, 0201, 0202, 0203, 0204, 0205, 0206, 0501, 0502, 0503, 0504, 0505, 0506, 0507, 0508, 1501, 1502, 0207, 0208, 1001, 1002, 1301, 1302, 1303, 1304, 1401, 1402, 1305, 1306, 0901, 0902, 0903, 0904, 1201, 1202, 1203, 1204, 0709, 0710, 0407, 0408, 0701, 0702, 0703, 0704, 0705, 0706, 1101, 1102, 1103, 1104, 1901, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1905, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2101, 2102, 2103, 2104, 2105, 2201, 2202, 2203, 2204, 2205, 0401, 0402, 0403, 0404, 0405, 0406... No, it's too tiresome.

@pmeuh your problem is wrong crc of firmware file. Maybe broken due downloading. Download it again and reflash.
