Hopefully they'll share a few more interesting tidbits before then though, or they risk being outmarketed by the other alternate OS's (let alone the major ones).
Canonical especially is very astute at it, Mark Shuttleworth styles himself after Steve Jobs, he knows what his doing in that area.
Already Ubuntu and Tizen has much more mind-share, they can't afford to let that lead become too big...
Yes, that would be awesome since I'm working on my trolling studio so I can troll you 247. Jolla need some serious trolling to get through to the users.

When I'm set I will be able to take Jolla to a new level of existence. I can't wait for the new phone and we need an Countdown ASAP. Our own Mike Tizen has already started one lets see if he can keep it up or if I have to step in to help him.

I'm not worried that much about ubuntu touch, it does move forward pretty fast but that alone won't be enough. Tizen on the other hand..... well, it's samsung. If they release it (or if they want to realese it) with some high end device it will sell. Samsung is big now with very loyal customers. The question is how will they position tizen to android. They have couple options and more than enough money to try it more than once.

True, Tizen definitely is the bigger threat of the two, but Canonical is still (relatively) small and agile...
Shuttleworth has turned the whole company on a dime several times before, & it's almost always paid off, despite being very unpopular (rightly so in some cases) in many circles.

I say the most imminent threat towards jolla and all smaller vendors are flexible screens. By the end of the year I expect them to arrive. Now, Im not sure how flexible they will be if they are really flexible or just unbreakable. I think the next one coming up with the best flexible device. can change the market like iPhone once did.
