Its still on short somewhere detach the battery immeditely . Take a multimeter and measure the battery connectors on board and tell me the output

battery isnt issue. probably cpu was shocked and dead. led indicator just simple charger circuits.
need to unsold every chip, clear it, heat and sold back. too difficult and expensive.
