So here's my contribution. First off, I cheated!

Pics are taken with N9 in macro-mode. But to have them serious macro, I attached a plastic-lens from a cheap plastic camera which I took apart and found usefull for this. Hope it's allowed:

Eek, should've blown dust first... Anyway, it limits depth-of-field to ~1mm and adds this nasty flare which I didn't even notice exactly while taking the picture ~2h ago. Here it is:

Edit: taken on my balkony, original is full res., the one for competition is croppped to 3:2 format, no editing besides that.
