What about flashing the emmc?? I am a little bit confused I can't understand if it is a software or a hardware problem...Well it must be a software problem because of the playback issue.

Well I flashed a FIASCO image, everything went well except CMT which is normal because it can't flash a ****ed up gsm chip. Phone started normally, did the initial setup, uploaded some mp3 files, still nothing.

I even tried to stream sound via FM, the FM starts fine, set up frequency, click play and the file still won't start to play.

I think that you should try to flash the emmc...

I did that, FIASCO COMBINED flashes the EMMC...

Are you sure? If I am right there where 2 images to be flashed (eMMC/VANILLA and FIASCO/Rootfs). Check the wiki if you can
(I am sorry if you have done both, but it is a 5:30 and I think I should take a sleep )

COMBINED is both, that's what I flashed...

Well it's 5:42 AM here and the answer is simple: I have no idea!

Well as I said, now I have an active phone so I can take all the time in the world to see what can I do with that N900.

If nothing can be done, I'm going to sell it or trade it for another phone.

I think that you should keep it, it's a great phone!
And I also think that we should both take a sleep (It's 5:48 AM here as well)

Well I can't I have to work... But it was nice seeing again the N900 power up, I know it's a great device, but it's useless for me if it's not functional at least as a media center...
