Wait what... I've just got a notification for a system update to MeeGo 40.2012.21-3.350.3 or in fact mp-harmattan-350-pr. Is that what I think it is??

The ones who are just giving up to this don't even deserve to own an N9!! You lack the required spirit, mates.

WE ARE quite a large number of N9 owners and WE CAN be heard! Just do what I did, go to support and send an email, go to Discussions and overflow it with posts (the Meego section IS STILL THERE), go to conversations and leave comments, make Tweets about this!!!

And please, please, stop swearing to the ones who still believe in something, and stop saying it's not possible, it's too damn depressing! And WhyTF did you bought such an expensive Smartphone to just DONT GIVE A F*** IF IT IS INDEED DYING OR NOT?? we, the ones who really make an effort to buy it, are worried and want to do something about it!

I wanted this pone to stay with me at least 4 years, i don't want to buy a frkng Jolla or Lumia so soon!!

Well, I guess I vented myself. Thanks to all the devs and the people who still believes in something, and come to this forum to post productive things, like the creator of this thread and all the ones who are trying to find a workaround.

There's an old saying, truth hurts.

I got it (actually 2 of them) because it's the coolest thing you can have. Bought them right away when they were first launched, at the full release price. No regrets there, thy are well worth the price
And do I give a fsck about whether they are still supported or not? No. Why should I? What do I care about whether there are any updates by Nokia (or Microsoft as it today)?
Am using the devices, tinkering with them and enjoying myself doing it.

Yes, no problem. Banning HW problems I am sure I'll be using my devices a long time to come.

On n900 and pidgin facebook chat is ok. I tried to create jabber account on N9 using extraplugins with same settings as pidgin account have - same result, "network error". Something is wrong with telepathy used in N9.
