I am NOT suprised. As stated already most manufactors has Android only drivers. (its seems also the case for other stuff like camera drivers etc

So I guess know people will complain like crazy

Thank you google for not using core libc.

These guys are Finnish, mate, can't you at least understand? I'm sure translations/other channels will come in time. Tell me: which [insert your favourite English speaking country here] company has released breaking news in any language other than English? Say Spanish for instance? Or Chinese?

I see that you chose to to necro, that's okay...
It's about messaging, it's not about nationalism, something they (nor you) seem to appreciate, maybe it will come, in time.

I recall Finland being one of their targeted markets; along with Asia. Nothing more or did I forget something?

This is not as bad as it sounds.
They will be able to rely on properly mantained drivers, plus provide full compatibility in one shot. In terms of licensing, however, well,...

Not sure what you mean (honestly), but I'm certain it's off topic, so let's drop it.

If It's about messaging, then I think English is the least preferred language. Recall that they aim to China and Europe markets - China doesn't speak English, and most countries in Europe don't speak English either. Finland, naturally, is their home market so it makes sense that reports are being made in Finnish, mostly because the media is probably more interested there. Does this make sense?

Look, I'm as eager as you are to hear things, but let's give these guys a break... I'd rather them concentrating in getting out a good device than them getting out really nice PDF's in multiple languages. At the end of the day, there are nice people who summarise/translate articles in other languages into English, so what gives?

I don't think that the mass consumers will be interested in anything at this point anyway, which is when it makes sense for the messaging to be a bit wider, as you suggest.
